About Soar

Soar is a personal tennis video review: one clip, one question, one coach's answer made just for you. No live calls to schedule, no lesson to drive to — you send the moment that's bugging you and a vetted coach sends back what they see, why it matters, and what to train next.

Why it exists

Most players sit between a $100-an-hour lesson and a thousand generic YouTube videos. The lesson is personal but expensive and hard to schedule; the videos are free but were made for someone else's swing. Soar is the middle: expert eyes on your footage, at a price you set, on your schedule.

Who runs it

Soar is an independent, founder-run service based in San Jose, California — currently in its founding pilot, with coaches screened and approved one at a time. There's no support department to get lost in: mail to admin@coachsoar.org lands with the person who built this.

The standard

Every coach application is reviewed by a person — credential proof, a required sample answer video, and a name check against the U.S. Department of Justice's National Sex Offender Public Website (NSOPW). Each coach's first answer is held for human review before it reaches a player. Player footage is never public: coaches view it through expiring, logged access links, and their access ends when the review closes. Where it's going

The founding roster is being built now, coach by coach. If you teach — or played at a level worth learning from — apply to coach. If you're a player, ask the questionthat's been slowing you down.
